For this event, we invite facilitators to present on what they love to do and why they love to do it, as well as bringing in local entrepreneurs to judge our Cardinal Nest (our take on the Shark Tank idea) portion of the day. These are perfect opportunities to inspire and educate our SPS students as they gain more experience within their specific interest fields.
SPS Maker Faire & Cardinal Nest is a day of workshops and informational sessions for our 5th through 8th graders, culminating in prepared pitches by our students where they will share their business ideas to a panel of entrepreneurs. Winners receive funds from SPS to take next steps with their business. We look forward to seeing what creative ideas our students present this year!
